Wheel Lifetime Structural Warranty
RC Components wheels have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship RC Components warrants that all RC Components wheels to be free from structural defects in both material and workmanship as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed and sold within the United States.
CHROME FINISH: The chrome finish on your RC Components wheel is of the highest quality and is warranted against peeling, or lifting on the exterior surface for a period of 2 years from the original purchase date. At the time of purchase, an extended chrome warranty is available for $89.95. This will add an additional 3 years of chrome warranty coverage to your RC Components wheels. To ensure longevity of the chrome surface, it must be maintained properly salt, sand, and humidity are bad for chrome. If you ride the motorcycle in these conditions and do not clean and dry the chrome parts, the life of the chrome will be shortened.
BLACK ANODIZED FINISH: The black anodize finish on your RC Components wheels is warranted for a period of 2 years from the original purchase date. Exposure to UV rays is harmful to all black anodize surfaces. Therefore, it is important to avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV rays.
This warranty does not apply to wheels which have been installed on a commercial or racing vehicle or which have been improperly installed, altered, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents. Products that have been subject to corrosion of the finish due to neglect, caustic cleaning chemicals, harsh car washes, adverse weather conditions or improper product care are not covered by this warranty RC Components does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occurred by the product, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation. If a defect in workmanship or materials is found by our factory inspection, our sole obligation shall be to repair or replace any RC Components product returned under the terms of this warranty. Proof of purchase, MUST be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the product, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original product must also be returned and exchanged for a new product of the same part number.
RETURN OF PRODUCT: To submit a Warranty claim, the consumer must first contact the service outlet from which the product was originally purchased. If purchased direct from RC Components please contact customer support at (800) 360-0915 to receive a return authorization number ("RA #"). Any defective product must thereafter, in a reasonably prompt manner, be returned directly to RC Components together with the original sales receipt (or equivalent reasonably acceptable to RC Components management); the RA # clearly written on the outside of the package; and mailing and/or freight charges prepaid to our facility.
